Donation, 08/09/1981. Used by: Lena Firn Booher Grover. Made by: Thornton-Levey, Indianapolis, IN. Marked at bottom: "THORNTON-LEVEY CO INDPLS". Top left corner depicts a yound woman in classical garments amidst books, globe, statuary, lyre, telescope, diplomas, owl in front of Parthenon-like building. Above and to the right reads: "SHELBYVILLE INDIANA PUBLIC SCHOOLS HIGH SCHOOL DEPARTMENT" Diploma was issued May 24, 1918 to Lena Firn Booher. Has a gold foil seal on it and there is also an engraving of Indiana State Seal. Diploma is rolled with a black and yellow ribbon around it.
