Traditional style hand sickle; has curving blade that tapers to a point; and wood handle; this sickle was made in two pieces; an iron tang that fits inside the handle terminates with a 90 degree bend and sickle blade has been fored welded to it at this point; an unusual feature in the way the blade is beveled for sharpening indicates sickle was used by left handed person.
