Seat is upholsteredin a green print plush type of material; 2 'horns' are located on either side of center of saddle; left flank of saddle is tooled, right flank is plain brown leather; padding under saddle is made of a cloth side that goes against the horse and a leather side that goes against the underside of the saddle. These 2 layers are quilted together; has 2 stripped sanvas belly bands; single iron stirrup on left side of saddle. Marks: maker's tag underone of the horns has a line drawing of a horse and wording "Saddle, Bridles,/Harness, &c &C/Made & sold cheap by/Joseph Wilson/Cartage,Indiana/" Found In Collection
