Sled

Name/Title

Sled

Description

Sled for hill coasting on snow, the runners have a sharp upward curve at the front terminating in two iron or steel figures shaped like the bent neck and head of geese complete with eyes and bills. These ornaments were for tying the pull rope. There is a stredtcher bar just below the goose heads, and the runners have a trip of iron.
