A. six-sided heavy metal base, sections 1.75" x 2" x .25" from triangle with scroll decoration; 5.25" spike up through center. B. 3" diameter base cups upward 1.75" in all-over scroll pattern decoration; 6.5" spike in center. Used in Big 4 Grocery, E. Washington St., Shelbyville, IN. to hold receipts, bills, etc.; Big 4 Grocery originally owned by Kate Hilligoss Chapman but sold in 1913 to Len McCabe
