This drawing depicts the donor's maternal great-grandparents, Stephen (1837-1891) and Louisa Copple Ridlen (1840-1861). The couple resided in Fountaintown, IN. Louisa is buried in Concord Cemetery in Morristown, IN. Mr. Ridlen, who died by suicide following the death of his second wife and several of his children, is said to be buried in Concord Cemetery without a headstone.Collection
