Description

Object consists of 9 pieces of wood held together by assorted clamps; 2 pieces on back act as legs so unit is free standing; other pieces of wood facing viewer are marked in half inch graduations; 3 vertical bars are marked 1/2 inch to 14" and made up the left, right & center supports, the left vertical bar is also studded with brads 1 to the inch; the top & bottom portions are made of 2 bars each studded w/brads every inch the left bars are marked 1/2" to 12", right bars 81" to 92"; has information tag on it giving information also has a Bradley Hall Furniture Sale Tag on it. Impressed on top bar in black ink "Quaker Ball Point" Suspect this was a scaled down store display model of larger curtain stretcher, donor says he remembers his mother use it to stretch doilies after laundering.
