Device consists of interworking parts; one section is long bar w/toothed surface for a ratchet action, one end of this piece is wide space 2 prongs that rest on floor; other piece consists of spiked bar at right angle to first piece, teeth grab carpet; other part is wood handle attached to spiked bar to provide leverage.
