Description

1940’s Jantzen floral print bathing suit. The bodice is edged with purple gathered cotton fabric and this is edged with a strip of the floral fabric, edged with white lace. The floral print is in colors of green, pink, purple, black and green on a white background. The bottom is the purple fabric and outlining this is the floral fabric and lace. The top straps are crossed in the back and there is a zipper running down almost the full length of the suit.

Context

This was donated to the American Cancer Association in Shelbyville and their director donated it to Grover Museum for preservation and historical interest.
