T-shaped; wood handle quite straight; slight taper near center; looks as if handmade' flat edges on hand grips; square hole thru center to receive metal shaft; shaft held on with square shaped nut; nut has flat rounded lip; metal is square and tapers to a rounded rod; corkscrew 6 3/4" x 1" tip is threaded
