set of 4 identical tablespoons; handle terminates in a gentle rounded point similar in shape to a gothic window; at base of "window: shape is a ledge protruding on each side which immediately narrows from 1 1/16" wide to 3/8" wide and widens again slightly in a rounded shape; this is decorative part of handle and is 2 3/4" long; has floral motif consisting of 2 platn stalks (one on right and one on left of handle); both stalks arch over at the top with the left sstalk arching over the right stalk. Marks: back of handle is stamped: "1847 ROGERS BROS" there are 2 more marks or letters but cannot make them our. History: all 4 spoons have the same pattern which may be called "Lilly of the Valley" Remarks: spoons subnumbered 84.632A through 84.63.2D
