Description

Cast lead doll-size teapot; lid lifts off; spout has 8 cross grooved lines on the underside; sides decorated in unusual pattern; center of pattern appear to be a flower which is upside down inside a "U", on either side of "U" is a braided cord-like line and then a solid line from which a leaf pattern emerges; lid is basically cone shaped with a pointed finial. Part of a set given to donor as a Christmas present in 1902 by her grandmother Eliza Ann Deiwort, 183 -1903. Teapot is .004, lid is .004A. See also 83.7.5-83.7.10.
