Tin box, outside is brass colored; had hinged lid; top surface of lid is voilet color has art work of woman or long haired man in formal clothes with tails playing a violin, white lettering reads "The/ Violin King/ Artist's Band/ Made in Germany"; underside of box has a blue and white paper label with a "C"; inside of box is a harmonica with a variety of engravings identifying it as a product of F. A. Bohm made in Germany and made for the key of "C".
