2 metal hooks made from bar iron approx. 13 1/2" long x 3/4" wide x 3/16" thick; hooks flaten out and terminate in a sharp point; other end has drilled hole; 2 hooks are joined by a rivet 3 3/8" from the end with the drilled holes; there is an "S" hook inserted in the holes and these hooks are attached to ahandle of stamped sheet iron.
Special functions: Used to move blocks of ice; hooks were spread so that points were on opposite sides of a block; then by pulling up on handle exerted a pressure that caused the points to dig into the ice and hold.Collection
