Rather short thick "T" handle looks like carved form larger board, the crosspiece of the handle is reinforced with 2 long rivest, at the base the handle does curve to fit into the scoop portion; scoop is made of heavy gauge looped wire held in place between riveted sections of sheet ironl scoop riveted to handle in 3 places. Tool was used after potatoes harvested and put into storagel designed with rounded blunt wire ends so could scoop potatoes without cutting them leading to spoilage.Collection
