a flat oblong piece with a 1 in square 2 inch long on the back, on the front is a grooved place. Used to smooth out a weld. 1984.048.016 - .19 in square hole on anvil, put weld in groove, place 1984.048.014 & .015 over weld, hold on plces and hit with a sledge hammer, grooves must match in size.
