rod with a round flat surface on the end ( "A" has one on eack end) on the end is a hole of differen sizes they are smooth on one side and counter sunk on the other. D "H. BASSETT" pour hot metal in to hole, let cool and then turn it over and knock out bolt. (would then have to be threaded. 1984.048.027 A - E
