horse shoe shaped, but in the middle of the shoe is a gauge that measures 0-65 counting by 5's on the side of this is a piece of metal that when it is moved so dows the gauge. Used to give the right angle on horse shoes for a race horse, the two front shoes must be on the same angle as must the two back.the hore's hoof set on the smooth side and the piece of lose metal layed againest the top of the hoof.
