Louis Kuhn purchased for the museum so there could be a train running during the 1984 Christmas Toy Train Show; part of a complete set known as the "Yard Boss". Underside is marked "BUCHMANN, HONG KONG" accessory for HO toy train set; automatic switch track; blue plastic base which has 2 switch signals one being a low mount light the other being a flag tower; on front of base is lip 2 1/4" wide that has switch track mounted to it; there is a cardboard structure that sits on the base, has brown vertical siding, windows trimmed in red and has a red shingle roof; there is a flag man that is inside this building but if set fully connected comes out to meet train; black knob on side of base activates flag man and arm on the signal tower; cardboard structure is loose and easily lost so have subnumbered 1984.075.008ACollection
