Louis Kuhn purchased for the museum so there could be a train running during the 1984 Christmas Toy Train Show; part of a complete set known as the "Yard Boss". Underside is marked "BUCHMANN, HONG KONG" accessory for HO toy train set; bumper make of black molded plastic; base has rough surface to simulate gravel of road bed; used at the end of the switch track to stop rolling cars, has rectangular pad on one end for cars to 'bump'; pad is part of a horizontal piece that extends through a vertical piece and rests on top of another vertical piece;
