Marx tin litho clockwork wind up fighting tank toy, circa 1930’s to 1950’s. The body is grey tin with a lever on top to turn it on. There are rubber treads over the tires on each side, making it a climbing tank. On the top is a circle inscribed with MAR toys. On the back side is written: Licensed under patent No. 1334539 Made in USA.
B. Original box with ‘Climbing Tank” on the top. The side closing panels each have inscribed: “This is one of the many Marx toys. Have you all of them?”Collection
