plastic switch tower made to resemble a frame structure with a pyramid peak roof; has white clapboard siding, doors and window trimmed in green; roof is green ans has a red brick chimney; structure sits on a maroon base made to look like a wood platform; upper story of tower has a green balcony in front of an open doorway in which stands a blue figure of a man; on side of tower is a stairway which is enclosed at the top landing, blue figure of a man carrying a red lantern ( make from a red bead) is on the stairway; the stairway and enclosure are red. underside of base is marked "NO 445 SWITHC TOWER MADE IN U.S. OF AMERICA , THE LIONE COROPRATION, NEW YORK N.Y."
When connected to power source, the man in the tower is supposed to come out on the balcony and the man on the sairs is supposed to move up and down the stairway; donor is a private collector of Lionel trains and accessories, he gave duplicates from his collection. roof detaches so have subnumbered it .070.002ACollection
