A: Artificial Christmas tree made of a center pole wrapped with brown paper. Extending from paper are 9 branch sections, each section has 4 branches made of flexible wire covered with a green celluloid-like material. The branches taper in length with the bottom branches being the longest. B: Stand is a wood box on 4 legs painted gray with a painted gold band near the top.
According to donor, tree was in her first husband's family from about 1902 on. Donor also understood from the family that it was made in Germany.Artwork Details
