Description

Small trunk with one compartment, outside is horsehide, with handles made by blacksmith secured to metal plate. Lock plate is sheet iron. Has decorative straps across top and down front secured by brass tacks. Brass tacks used in cluster of 5 for decoration and brass tack initial "W" on top of trunk. Inside is lined with wall paper. Trunk had old collection number 152 on tag on back of trunk. It was probably donated in the 1930" by Juddge Peasley"s granddaughter.
