Black & white sepia-toned print inside paper folder; subject is bust view of a young man body square to camera, head turned to his left but not full profile; dark hair appears parted on left, combed back from forehead, longer on top than sides; lighter colored suit coat with patterned texture and probably matching vest; shirt is printed in diamond pattern with small circle at points where diamonds connect; wearing bow tie but cannot see details of pattern; paper folder is a dark color, has textured surface, front cover folder has a stamped fleur-de-lis; same type paper used for mat over print and decorated with series of incised lines.
