Photos were the result of a contest sponsored by the Shelby County Historical Society.
On back of frame are 3 news cliippings. One telling of the bridge being damaged by a truck with 14 tons of crushed rock being driven over it.( Denver Post 2/20/1959) Another is a photo of the timbers from the bridge after it was torn down(Indianapolis News 4/ 02/1959). The third is a clipping from The Shelbyville News about the photo contest which was sponsored by the Shelby County Historical Society.Collection
