A block fine straw hat, 2 1/2" high crown with flat tip, irregular brim 1 1/2" back 2 12" front and 3 1/2" side, checked design on brim made with fine braid; 1 1/2" black grosgrain ribbon around crown with silk flower in front, flower is shades of gray with green leaf and red stem and clump of white stamen in center of flower.
