Women's Champagne Satin DressDescription
A: Formal prom dress of champagne satin brocade in a flower design made with scoop neck, shoulder pads, cap sleeves edged with self-made bias tape in double scallop. Fitted bodice opens on left side with zipper; shoulder pads. 40" skirt in 4 gores gathered worn over a crinoline petticoat with a 13" plain white satin ruffle around bottom. This was worn over a (B) hoop skirt made of cotton net with an 89" hoop on bottom and a 75" hoop 7" above bottom hoop. A 2.25" ruffle is folded net around bottom. An extra (C) crinoline petticoat of 3 gores. An additional (D) white gauzy petticoat. The dress also comes with the cover of the December 1944 Seventeen magazine (E).Use
