Description

A lace cap; the brim is 2 1/2" wide and 19" on the outer edge and 16" where the brim joins the crown; has a few gathers in the top of the crown; bottom of crown is 12" across, tan in color.

by Anna Woehler Van Benthusen (1835-1907), before 1860.

Context

Anna Woehler Van Benthusen was the great-grandmother of the donor, Lizzie Pearl Chesser.
