by Lena Walden Thralls (1974-1957), who lived at both 226 E. Mechanic St. and 678 Amos Rd., and crocheted the dress while living in Shelbyville, IN.

Context

Lena was the mother of Estolle Thralls Gross and Betty Thralls Randall. On note with dress: "Mother was saving the dress to be buried in but changed her mind. The dress was never worn by anyone."
