Black & white; rural setting; parts of 3 interurban cars, to right is passenger car & trailer to left is part of another passenger car, where passenger cars meet are caved-in sections from collision; foreground are 2 1920's automobiles, between cars is group of 10 men, and possibly 2 women; center most man in group is wearing bib overalls and a dark sombrero that has tassels on the brim; there is a face looking at the women from the passenger side of the auto on the right.
From donor's larger slide collection has file number "11026" printed on it. Inscription on mount identifies as a wreck near Fairland Aug. 23, 1928 -- 20 people injured; caused by oil on tracks from weed spraying.Collection
