Tool has an unusual handle, has 4 flat sides in ection near jaws but tapers and eventually becomes round at the opposite end, approximately 5/8" of threading on the round end; metal part that provides a housing guide for the adjustable jaw is attached to handle by one rivet, there are 2 thin pieces of metal riveted to handle just below the jay houseing; adjustable jaw has a slightly rounded top.
Embossed on one side of panel of adjustabel jaw is "F. E. Wells & Son Co. 14" Opposite panel has "Greenfield, Mass USA," and stamped on the handle is "WELLS & SON CO/ GREENFIELD MASS U.S.A."
