Black and white glass-plate negative in portrait format. Image is of a seated female, middle-aged or older. Hair is parted in the middle and pulled back away from face. Pince-nez glasses have a chain that is attached to blouse. High collar on blouse, pin on collar. Sleeve is full to just below elbow, then becomes tighter to fit around forearm. Right hand in lap. Left hand is resting against left hip with the palm out. Original envelope was inscribed: Mrs. George M. Wright/1-sepia to frame". Print made 2/2004.
