A musical instrument with 17 metal strings; madeon several pieces of joined wood and all are finished with a dark color; top surface has a stenciled section just above the sound hole; the stencil is in a gold color and numbers each string as well as give the strings musical notation a, d, e. so on; bottom side is solid color and has three brass tacks inserted to serve as legs; each string is attached to a metal tuning peg near the curved top edge; need a special wrench to turn the tuning pegs;
Donors found in an old house they were tearing down.
