"Zodiac" is an original screenprint on black paper by Austrian artist Roland Hobart. The rectangular print depicts a sun surrounded by the twelve astrological symbols / Zodiac signs. The circular sun is poised at the center of the print, with two triangular ray designs alternating and extending outward from its edge. The sun is swathed in vibrant shades of yellow, orange, and blue. Its facial features are outlined in black. At the end of each of the longer, more fluid rays is a black circle outlined in yellow. Inside these circles, also in yellow, are each of the twelve astrological symbols. The background is patterned with alternating rays of vibrant color. Blocked swatches of two shades of blue, black, and green extended outward from the center of the print. A yellow geometric pattern is superimposed over the black and green blocked segments.Type of Print
