"Community Hall, constructed about 1920 as a Pentecostal church, was originally located in the 2600 block of 49th Street and was moved to its present location in the late 1930's, when it was acquired by the city. It was used as a community center until 1964, and now houses the local chapters of the Boy and Girl Scouts."
