CAS.3Description
A black and white photograph of people sitting in the open air soda fountain at the first Gulfport Casino. A group of three are looking over what appear to be menus. A group of four are seated at the table beside them. There is one man standing by the bar and two women standing behind the counter in front of a large tap dispenser with a large circular mirror behind them. The soda fountain has items for sale in a large glass case, including large sea shells, magnets, and jewelry. There are large conch horns in a box labeled "EVAPORATED MILK."
The floor is simple wood and the beams of the roof are exposed on the interior. Supporting beams can be seen throughout the open space. A sign that reads "LOWNEY'S CHOCOLATES" can be seen hanging from one of the beams, and a sign for Coca-Cola is barely visible on a wall.Photograph Details
