Formerly Thorne Studio. "This was owned originally by Lester Wintersgill (c. 1922) and then Elizabeth Griffin in 1924, by which time there was certainly a house. The Henry Thornes took possession around 1925 and remained there throughout the entire period. Their son Robert and daughter Barbara were both in the service during WWII."
