Gay Nineties Festival started by Walt Williams Jan. 1948 THE CLOCK TURNS BACKWARD--No, this isn't an old picture resurrected from our files. It's Gulfport's Mayor Walter Williams assisting Mrs. Edna Christman from a vintage car with Chauffeur Louis J. Boeri respectfully holding the door. It's all for the sake of the Gay Nineties festival Gulfport will put on Jan 19 [1948]. A number of ancient autos are being entered in the event.
