BOCA CIEGA INN
Has an ideal tropical setting amid palms and pines. Boca Ciega Bay lies to the south and a sandy beach borders the grounds. The temperate waters of the Gulf are a delight for bathers and the beach is safe for adults and children. The lawn slopes to the water's edge where complete relaxation may be found while the near-by municipal pier is a never failing source of interest and amusement.
Fishing is one of the major attractions in this area. Boca Ciega Bay is a challenge to both the experienced as well as the amateur fisherman for the waters of the Bay are abound with the fighting kingfish, speckled trout and channel bass. Boats with well trained guides are available at a reasonable fee.
Shuffleboard courts are on the hotel grounds and free for the use of the Inn guests. Two excellent golf courses are within a two mile radius, and transportation is arranged for those who wish to attend plays, civic entertainments or lectures, in the downtown city area.
A television lounge, Bingo games and card parties are included in the weekly activities with optional Lawn Buffet Luncheon for all those who enjoy a cookout under the Florida sun.
Combine the Florida outdoors with a friendly atmosphere within, tempting meals of Florida fruits and fresh vegetables in our attractive dining room, along with pleasant accommodations of the Inn and you have an unusual location for a perfect vacation. Make Boca Ciega Inn your home this winter.
