BOY SCOUTS OF AMERICA CHARTERED BY CONGRESS JUNE 15, 1916 Charter of Institution to conduct A Troop of Boy Scouts This is to Certify that THE GULFPORT METHODIST CHURCH having made proper application through its duly authorized representatives for the organization of a Troop of Boy Scouts to carry out the program of the Boy Scouts of America for: CHARACTER BUILDING : AMERICANIZATION : CITIZENSHIP TRAINING is hereby granted this first annual charter for the year ending the last day of DEC. 1932 for the 1ST year of Troop No. 15 of GULFPORT, FLA. subject to the provisions of the Constitution and By-Laws and rules and regulations of the National Council of the Boy Scouts of America. TROOP COMMITTEE H.A. CARLTON H.H. HERNDON JOHN F. CRONKHITE BRUNO BECKHARD C.M. PHILLIPS, CHM'N. SCOUTMASTER HOWARD S. PRICE, ASSISTANT SCOUTMASTER The above-mentioned officials, having been duly certified, are officially registered by the National Council to meet the responsibilities of their respective offices in accordance with the provisions of the Constitution and By-Laws of the Boy Scouts of America. IN TESTIMONY WHEREOF the National Council of the Boy Scouts of America has caused this charter to be signed by its officers and its corporate seal to be affixed this 26TH day of DECEMBER, in the year 1931.
