This is a military funeral ceremony for a man Robert Batchelor, who is to be buried at sea. The ceremony will be conducted by the boat "Sonny's Honey" which will take the body out to sea following ceremony on shore by slip 12. Want pic of the onshore ceremony. The members of the Disabled American Veterans Chapter 13 of Madiera [sic] Bch will do ceremony. Includes a firing squad which will fire 3 or four volleys, of blank ammo and taps. The entire entourage leaves funeral home around 8:45 a.m. and will arrive at marina with body at 9 a.m. After ceremony they will put body on board, delivery eulogy and cast off. There should be about 7 or 8 vets in the ceremony, most in old dress uniforms.Language
