"Community Hall, constructed about 1920 as a Pentecostal church, was originally located in the 2600 block of 49th Street. It was moved to its present location in the late 1930s, when it was acquired by the city. Used as community center until 1964, it now houses the local chapters of the Boy and Girl Scouts."
(Note: In 2024, Scout Hall is a City event venue and community space. There are no Scout troops currently in Gulfport.)
