Description

A color photograph of a 1925 custom-built American La France Model 75 pumper parked on 53rd Street South in front of the First United Methodist Church for display. The apparatus is red and gold with black leather seats. There is a line of "FIRE LINE DO NOT CROSS" tape roping off the vehicle from the rest of the road. The truck has 'GULFPORT ENGINE CO NO 1" printed on the front hood. The numbers 1925 are written on a toolbox secured to the step.
