"The house on the northwest corner of Gulfport Boulevard and 59th Street...was built in 1949 by Fred Ranieri and his Liberty Construction Company. In what had just been a wilderness area, they soon completed an 18-house development called "Jacaranda Terrace" after the trees planted in each yard. Ranieri kept this house for his own family."
