OPEN AIR POST OFFICE - Across the street from Williams Park, it was my father's place of employment for many years. First as a letter carrier pedalling a bicycle on his rounds, and eventually as manager of the station he made the Post Office his career for almost his entire wok life. As a kid I never really knew just what went on there, but at his funeral two years ago many of his coworkers came and talked endlessly about how fair he was as a boss. Funny to hear it all in that context.Language
