The Storm
The surf began to rise and the trees to bend this morning as Pinellas prepared for wind, rain and possibly tornadoes. Small craft (at right and below left) were tired down in the waters around Gulfport. Securing the 'Rebel Queen' (below left) were Dutch Beck and Carl Morgan. The teenagers, below right, appear fascinated by the salty blast of sea water upchurning at Pass-a-Grille Beach just before the storm hit.
