CIT.9Description
A black and white photograph from the water tower near Gulfport City Hall looking south. Boca Ciega Bay stretches out in the distance.
From note: Looking south. 54th St S on the right and 54th St S on left. The white horseshoe-shape running off 54th St S is Davis Court driveway - 4 duplex cottages can be seen. The Twelve Oaks building is behind the garage apartment. A Frank Davis built them and he raced hydroplane speed boats. One block further back is the Methodist Church in its original location, now the Historical Society building moved across the street. The first point of land in the background is Cats Point and the second faint strip is Big Bird Key. (Nathan, October 27, 1993)Photograph Details
