Side chair fragment. The chair is attributed to Buckland and Sears and to Gunston Hall. The fluting of the scroll ends of the leg brackets is virtually identical to the stair bracket scrolls at Gunston Hall and the scrolls on a side table also attributed to the Buckland shop with carving by Sears. Brackets were originally rosehead nailed on. The stretchers are single pegged into the leg. Back crest rail and splat is missing. There is no seat. There are geometric designs carved in relief on the front legs. The back legs are splayed. There is an H-stretcher and one rail in back
