Description

Leland D Ewing was born on April 11, 1909 to James and Addie Ewing in Austin, TX. He was initiated into the Omega chapter at Drake University in 1927 and a graduate of the University of Iowa in 1931. He returned to Texas and became a two time past Polemarch of the Houston Alumni Chapter. He was the travelling auditor for the Grand United Order of the Odd Fellows and Chairman of the Houston Pan Hellenic council. Brother Ewing was drafted and enlisted into the Armed Services for World War II in 1942. He passed away on November 27, 1956 and his occupation was an Accountant/Bookkeeper.
